Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY Developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines. Drive EHS performance through timely, accurate reporting for all workplace Leading and Lagging Indicators Take personnel ownership of the EHS performance by influencing safety behaviors from all levels within the Organization. Maintain documentation related to EHS for all weekly/monthly reporting in support of safety performance for the Business Unit Maintain the BU Safety manual and supporting program documentation to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and corporate requirements applicable to workplace safety Establish and communicate site safety performance expectations, while implementing improvements in a continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrate the ability to work independently to develop program enhancements and implement the changes through a team approach. Manage workplace hazards to As low As Reasonably Possible (ALARP) through documented training, JHA's, Work Instructions, and accountability. Develop, present and manage a training program to maintain OSHA compliance for each business unit Lead and support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions for all injuries, illnesses and equipment damages Manage emergency action plans, tabletop drills, live drills and disaster recovery plans. Actively lead the Safety Committee by attending meetings, setting expectations, measuring progress, implementing corrective actions and gaining trust of the participants. Assist and Advice BU Leadership on the direction and the necessary actions on all subjects Environmental, Health and Safety. Report and develop an action plan for site non-compliance issues in a timely, effective manner to achieve resolution Establish and maintain a positive relationship with Business Leadership and the Director of Health, Safety and Environmental to ultimately achieve the safety goals of the organization. Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental compliance or related fields. 5-7 years in a related field.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Operations Management, Environmental Health & SafetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
